The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs stayed undefeated as they went into Charlottesville and beat Virginia, 44-38.
Old Dominion also stayed undefeated as they beat the Richmond Spiders, 45-37.
The North Texas Mean Green picked up their 2nd win of the season as they defeated the FAU Owls, 20-14.
The Tulane Green Wave continue their tough season as they get blown out by UL-Monroe, 63-10. Tulane has yet to win a game this season.
Tulsa and UAB had a shootout in Birmingham with the Golden Hurricane coming out victorious, 49-42.
The Marshall Thundering Herd were also in a high-scoring game as they came up short against Purdue, 51-41.
Rice went up against cross-town rival Houston in Reliant Stadium. The Cougars earned the victory 35-14 and retained possession of the Bayou Bucket.
Southern Miss continues to be winless after losing to #19 Louisville at home. The Golden Eagles lead for most of the game but the Cardinals went ahead in the final minutes to win 21-17.
East Carolina and UTEP took to the field in Greenville. The Pirates forced 3 interceptions and earned the win 28-18 over the Miners.
Florida International was blown out by the Ragin’ Cajuns of LA-Lafayette 48-20. The Golden Panthers drop to 1-4 on the season.
UTSA in their first, and only, season in the WAC continues to be undefeated as they beat New Mexico State, 35-14.

Charlotte’s very first opponent, the Campbell Fighting Camels, were also in action as they fell to the Drake Bulldogs 35-7.
