GW:

The Colonials come into this final game hoping to finish on a good note, as this hasn’t been a pretty one, to say the least. They are 1-5-0 on the road and have been shutout their previous three games by a combined score of 12-0. Leading the way is Seth Rudolph, who boasts 6 put-aways on 27 boots.

Giuseppe Gentile commands the boys in green with 7 goals, 5 assists, and 62 whacks. Jennings Rex is not too far behind with 8 goals and 1 assist.

Fruitful Fact:

-Charlotte has not lost at home in 20 games dating back to 2010

Well, it’s been a fun year, but the regular season is finally coming to a close. After Saturday, the Queen City will be welcoming the 8 best teams from the Atlantic 10 on November 8th to 11th to decide its 2012 champion. Then, on to the NCAA tournament for the 49ers. Will they make another magical run to bring home UNC Charlotte’s first ever national championship? Can’t wait to see how the cards play out. Adios, gang!
