Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Tournament Preview: Charlotte 49ers vs. Duquesne Dukes

WARNING: The following text shall be read slowly and intensely. If one has a weak stomach for adrenaline, one is recommended to pass. Enjoy (; Now get serious.

The time is upon us. The heartbreaking final moments of last year (“AND THE CAROLINA TAR HEELS DEFEAT THE CHARLOTTE 49ERS TO WIN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!”), the great memories of this year, and the pursuit of unfinished business…all come down to this. Queen City Army Rise.  It’s time. Let chaos storm and swallow the very air we breath. Let thousands of individuals come together and become one. Let the Queen City Army transform into the live, blood-pumping, adrenaline-rushed, beating heart of not only Transamerica Field, but the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. This is the postseason. This is the Atlantic 10 tournament. This is what we’ve all been waiting for, and the time is now. Last year is in the past. This is our time. It’s about THIS team, THIS city, and most importantly, THIS school. So grab your scarfs, jerseys, and vocal cords, because it’s game time. This is 2012 baby, not 2011. A new breed is here. And it’s Charlotte. And it’s comin’. Watch out.
