Charlotte 49ers 76, ECU 64: Post Game Digest-Ables

The 49ers (7-0) came out strong and never looked back as they rolled over in-state foe ECU (5-1) to remain undefeated on the year.

Prime Performer-Willie Clayton: Not only did he showcase a fiery passion throughout, but he also put up some great numbers: 13 rebounds, 14 points, 4-8 from the field, and 6-8 from the charity stripe. Good work Willie.

Numbers We Liked: 6 players shooting 50% or better from the field, 5 players shooting 50% or better from the free throw line, Willie’s 13 boards, and Halton Arena was jammin’ at 87% capacity, a great turnout.

Numbers We Didn’t Like: 11.1% shooting from beyond the arc, this needs to improve.

Final Thoughts: Great statement made by the Niners as they dominated play. They need to keep finding ways to win.

Next up: Davidson Wildcats, Wednesday December 5, at 8pm. The first true test of the year.
