Friday Night Lights: Charlotte 49ers 2014 Verbals in Action This Weekend

Here’s a look at the Charlotte 49ers football team’s 2014 verbals that are in action this weekend.  With school starting for those that hadn’t begun last week, we should see a full slate of action from many tonight.

Brooks Barden
, Mark Quattlebaum and Cartersville (GA) open their season at Darlington (GA).
Jean-Luc Cerza-Lanaux and 1-0 Charlotte Christian (NC) host 1-0 Hammond (SC).
Juwan Foggie and 1-0 High Point Central (NC) travel over to 1-0 Asheboro (NC).
Denzel Irvin and 0-1 Foundation Academy (FL) look to bounce back from an opening game loss when they host local rival Lakeland Christian (FL).
Workpeh Kofa and 1-0 Independence (NC) visit in-town rival 1-0 North Mecklenburg (NC).
Emmanuel Moseley and 1-0 Dudley (NC) travel to 0-1 Ragsdale (NC).
Najee Tucker and 0-1 West Rowan open their home schedule against 0-1 Davie County (NC).
R.J. Tyler and 1-0 Wagener-Salley (SC) hit the road to take on Bethune-Bowman (SC).

Charlotte’s newest verbal commit, Arthur Hart, and Model School for the Deaf (DC) welcome Indiana School for the Deaf.
Maetron Thomas and Stockbridge (GA) visit Tri-Cities (GA) on Saturday to kick off the 2013 season.

Tristan Butcher and Coweta (OK) don’t start until next Friday when they visit Wagoner (OK); Nate Davis and Stone Bridge (VA) open their season vs. Lake Braddock (VA) next Friday as well.  Chris Brown and 1-0 Vance (NC) are off this week, but they visit 1-0 Richmond (NC) next Friday.
