NCCU is being coached on an interim basis by Dwayne Foster, who took the helm when Henry Frazier III was fired shortly before the season began. Foster will have several offensive weapons at his disposal. Quarterback Jordan Reid is 35-65 in his first two games, has thrown for 340 yards and two touchdowns, and has run for 102 yards (on 31 carries) and a score. Idreis Augustus (23 carries, 133 yards) is the featured back for the Eagles, while Lamar Scruggs, Marvin Poole, Adrian Wilkins and a host of others can get it done from a receiving standpoint. Senior LB Tazmon Foster (20 tackles) and D-lineman Aaron Wallace (15 tackles) look to stop Matt Johnson, Austin Duke and the Niners’ aerial attack while keeping Alan Barnwell and Kalif Phillips at bay on the ground.
